Bhubaneswar, 29.12: Based on the data obtained from 32 public relations districts of the state through Odisha Press Academy with the support of the state government, 756 journalists have been considered eligible for pension of Rs 10,000 per month in the first phase. The pension scheme is scheduled to be formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi at in the second week of January.
