It’s decided! BJP has a new state president; announcement of ‘this’ leader’s name soon

After the cabinet expansion and portfolio distribution of the Mahayuti, the government’s work has now begun. BJP’s former state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule has now become a minister.

He has been directly assigned the position of Revenue Minister.

The question was being raised as to who would be the new state president after him. The answer to this question has now been almost confirmed. The MLA who was sidelined from the cabinet, Ravindra Chavan, will likely be the new state president. Only the official announcement of his name remains. The announcement could happen soon or after the local body elections; however, a decision has not yet been made regarding this.

Workers are the true strength of BJP, belief in Minister Ravindra Chavan for a return of Mahayuti government in the state.

In the cabinet led by Eknath Shinde, Ravindra Chavan was the Public Works Minister. He won the Dombivli constituency for the fourth consecutive time. Ravindra Chavan is experienced. He also plays the role of mediator in resolving internal disputes within BJP. There were discussions about him being given a chance in the cabinet again this year, but nothing materialized. BJP gave opportunities to some new faces in the cabinet this time.

BJP’s former state president, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, won in this election. BJP assigned him the Revenue department directly. Along with him, a few new MLAs were given opportunities, which led to the sidelining of some former ministers, including Ravindra Chavan. After this, BJP leaders were saying that Ravindra Chavan would be given a significant position. There were preparations to bring him into the party organization, away from the state government.

According to the latest information, Ravindra Chavan’s name has been confirmed for the position of BJP state president. BJP’s state conference will be held in Shirdi on January 12th. There is keen anticipation about whether Ravindra Chavan’s name will be announced at this conference. It is also being said that if Chavan is appointed as state president now, he will have time to prepare for the upcoming local body elections. However, there is also a viewpoint that Chandrashekhar Bawankule should continue as state president until the local body elections.
