Angul, 04/11, Odisha State School Sports Organization organized the 68th State Schools wushu Competition at Pruthiraj High School in Balangir for 3 days. About 21 contestants from Angul district participated and won 17 medals, 3 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze. For the first time, the interest of sportspersons has increased as wushu sport has been included in the state school sports. The district collector,
district education officer, district sports officer, physical education officer, and sportspersons have praised the children and wished them a bright future. Along with this, the District Sports Officer, Akshay Kumar Sith, sports teachers, Gobind Dallei, Dusmat Sahu, coaches, Chittaranjan Mahant etc. went to the railway station and greeted the sportspersons.
