Protest in front of District Collector’s office on behalf of Farmers’ Protection Committee

Angul, 08/10- Farmers’ Security Committee protested in front of Angul District Collector’s office today. It is reported that a huge rally came out from the local Jagannath temple on behalf of the Farmers Security Committee, went around the market and reached in front of the District Collector’s office and protested. Following the demolition of the Chakbandi records, the protest was held demanding land acquisition for the railways and the grading of the acquired land in Chakbandi villages based on the highest value land in the tehsil.
