Sambalpur, 09/10- A 70 years old woman named Balavati Prusti, from Jamujori village in Naktideul block of Sambalpur Since 20 years, after the death of her husband Pavitra prusti, She has been living in a helpless condition. In order to feed her stomach by eating and She opens a breakfast and veriety shop under a Mango tree in Vishanali street of her village.
During the day, she does everything starting from living to cooking and all works of her shop in her small hut , While at night She relies to God and live as very pathetic and dangerous state.In this content, A young police officer Tapan Kumar Nayak has extended a hand of support to Acording to information, hearing her story of struggle, CID Inspector Mr. Tapan Kumar Nayak working at Cuttack police headquarters while passing by that way, reached Valavati and offered some ration and Tripal and some financial assistance has provided.
Also He has appealed to the State Government to discuss with Sambalpur district Collector how to include her in a housing scheme and provide a house.
His colleague Inspector Mamata Rani Panda, SI Subhashree Nayak, Constable Manoj Sahu,Saroj Pradhan along with the social worker Nirmal Naik and many volunteers were present in that event.
CID Inspector Mr. Tapan Kumar Nayak has been highly appreciated by the locals for his service.
