Nimapara/puri, 09/10 – In a joint forest raid conducted today i.e on 9.10.2024 by forest wing of Odisha Vigilance, on running of two illegal sawmills without valid license at Mathasahi and Rod Bazar under PS- Nimapara, Dist- Puri, sawmill accessories worth Rs.21 Lakhs were detected and seized.
In another operation today on the running of two illegal sawmills without valid license at villages Dandakul and Uteipur under PS- Dhamnagar, Dist- Bhadrak, sawmill appliances along with 73.41 cft of freshly cut valuable timber and one unclaimed TATA-407 vehicle laden with timber from the above place worth Rs.25.13 Lakhs were detected and seized.
*In total, the vakue of seized goods comes to Rs.46.13 Lakhs*.
