State level forest department sports competition has been inaugurated
Odisha, Angul, 02.10:- The 2-day state level forestry sports competition has been inaugurated at the local Forest Rangers Training College this morning. Mr. Suresh Pant, Managing Director, Odisha Bankhand Udyana Nigam (OFDC) attended as the chief guest, while Mr. Sudshanshu Shekhar Khara , Regional Chief Conservator of Forests, Mr. Kartik V, Director of Forest Rangers Training College, Mr. Sangram Keshari Behera were the guests of honor Joined and launched the program. About 377 contestants from Angul , Brahmpur, Nabarangpur and Sambalpur zones are scheduled to participate in this competition. On the first day, there are 21 events like 400, 800, 1500, 10000 meter walk, 100, 200, 400, 800 and 5000 meter race, shot put and discus throw, high jump, badminton, table tennis, swimming. Similarly, on the 2nd day, there are a total of 8 events such as 25 km marathon, 1500 meters race, 400 meters relay. Among others, Angul Bankhand Officer Mr. Nitish Kumar, District Sports Officer Mr. Akshay Kumar Sith, employees of various Bankhands and representatives of the media attended the program.
