The final day of campaigning for the Delhi Assembly elections saw the BJP leaving no stone unturned, organising over 25 rallies and roadshows across the city.

With Delhi set to go to polls on Wednesday, BJP leaders made a final push to sway voters on Monday, bringing in a star-studded lineup of party heavyweights and campaigners.

Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Giriraj Singh, and BJP National President JP Nadda spearheaded the party’s last-day blitz, addressing large gatherings in key constituencies. Chief Ministers from various states, including Uttarakhand’s Pushkar Singh Dhami and Goa’s Pramod Sawant, also joined the campaign, lending their support to BJP candidates across Delhi.

Actor-turned-politicians Ravi Kishan and Smriti Irani also participated in rallies and roadshows, urging voters to back the party in a final bid to secure their votes.

BJP leaders took to streets in full force, filling the city with chants of party slogans and waving flags, signalling their confidence ahead of the vote.

Amit Shah and JP Nadda addressed several public meetings, while other party leaders focused on engaging with people directly through roadshows in multiple constituencies.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, during a roadshow, expressed confidence in BJP’s victory, saying: “This time, Delhi people have decided to give a two-thirds majority to the BJP. People are also confident that BJP government will be formed in Delhi. India’s economy has grown and development has taken place. No one can ignore these facts. There is no doubt that AAP has betrayed the people of Delhi.”

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, while campaigning in Sultanpur Majra for BJP candidate Karam Singh Kamra, said: “The BJP is winning Delhi with a big majority. I am confident that people will vote for the double-engine government.”

Meanwhile, Smriti Irani, campaigning in Adarsh Nagar, highlighted the party’s grassroots connection, saying, “A hardworking party worker has been made the candidate from Adarsh Nagar. When Rajkumar Bhatia is going from street to street, Modi’s guarantee is echoing there. People of Delhi will press the lotus button believing in Modi’s guarantee, and the BJP will wave the flag of victory in Delhi.”

BJP candidate from Mehrauli Gajendra Yadav led a bike rally to energise his supporters.

With intense campaigning in its final hours, the BJP left no room for complacency, hopeful of a strong showing when voters head to the polls on February 5.
