Sunita Williams Returns to Earth After Five Months in Space
New York: Space is a part of our universe filled with mysteries. While some mysteries have been solved by humans, many remain puzzles.
New York, January 4: Scientists continuously send humans to space to unravel these puzzles. Among those stranded in space for almost five months is Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams. NASA has been making efforts to bring her back, with possibilities of her return in February or March.
After returning from space, Sunita and her partner, Butch Wilmore, will undergo a long process to regain their physical fitness. Astronauts often experience significant physical and mental changes upon returning from space.
A 2022 study on the impact of space on the human brain revealed that astronauts may face weakened vision and challenges in walking, speaking, or interacting with people.
