Review meeting of Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management at Angul
Angul, Ms. – 19.12:- Honorable Revenue and Disaster Management of Odisha Minister Shri Suresh Pujari came on a one-day visit and reviewed various aspects of the Revenue Department at the local Circuit House this morning.
Hon’ble Angul MLA Mr. Pratap Chandra Pradhan, Talcher MLA Mr. Braj Kishore Pradhan, Chhendipada MLA Mr. Agasti Behera were also present in this meeting. In the beginning of the meeting, District Collector Mr. Abdal Muhammad Akhtar gave a welcome speech and introduced the officials present. In the meeting, Additional District Collector Mr. Uday Kumar Mohapatra spoke about the implementation of various programs of the district level revenue department through power points and Informed the Hon’ble Minister. In the review meeting, the issues related to Basundhara scheme for the homeless, forest land lease scheme, allotment of land to government schools, various revenue services such as caste, residence, income, caste certificate and land tenure in the district were discussed and reviewed. On this occasion, he directed the officials of the department to identify the real landless people, not to issue land leases and to take strict action against the encroachers of the government land. Along with this, the land of Talcher-Bimalgarh, Budhapank-Jarpada, Talcher-Angul new railway line etc. in that district he reviewed the procurement status. He also discussed with the concerned officials about the preparation of Kharif paddy procurement process starting from 27th of this month. In this meeting Mr. Baranyendu Mohanty Angul Sub collector, Talcher Sub Collector Mr. Sameer Kumar Jena, Athmallik Sub Collector Mr. Dillip Kumar Behera, Pallahada Sub Collector Mr. Sushant Kumar Pati, IAS Probationer Tejaswini Behera, District Education Officer Ms. Sushmita Sahu, District Supply Officer Ms. Smita Nayak, Asst. Manager of Angul Co – Operation Mr. Dukhia Tudu, All Land Acquisition Officers, Tahsildar were present.
