Filmmaker Karan Johar’s Mother Hospitalised
Filmmaker Karan Johar’s mother, Hiroo Johar, has been hospitalized at Mumbai’s Ambani Hospital, reports claim.
Paparazzo Viral Bhayani shared a video showing Karan and designer Manish Malhotra visiting Hiroo on Saturday evening.
The video reassures viewers, citing a family member, that there’s no cause for alarm, while fans flooded the comments with well-wishes for Hiroo’s speedy recovery.
“Karan Johar and his best friend Manish Malhotra were seen at Ambani Hospital visiting Hiroo Johar, Who was admitted the previous day. Wishing her Speedy recovery,” wrote the paparazzo.
The message written on the video reads, “Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra were seen at the Ambani Hospital visiting Hiroo Johar, who was admitted the previous day! A family member assures us there is no cause for alarm. We extend our best wishes for her swift recovery!” Karan is yet to release a statement.
Karan, who shares a deep bond with his mother, has yet to make a public statement. Recently, he celebrated Diwali with Hiroo and his children, Yash and Roohi, expressing gratitude for her constant presence in his life. He has often described her as his anchor and a guiding force, particularly in raising his children through surrogacy as part of their “modern family.”
On the professional front, Karan has announced his upcoming romantic comedy, Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya Lalwani. The film, directed by Vivek Soni, promises a fun take on modern relationships and is set to release next year.
