Tata Steel Meramandali organises a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp
~ More than 760 units of blood collected
Dhenkanal, Odisha, November 19, 2024: Tata Steel Meramandali (TSM) organized a special voluntary blood donation camp at Narendrapur, Dhenkanal district, reflecting its commitment to community welfare. Employees, their family members, and contract workers actively participated, donating a total of more than 760 units of blood.
The camp was inaugurated by Uttam Singh, Vice President of Operations at Tata Steel Meramandali, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and also donated blood. The event was also attended by Dr. Swarup Sahu, Blood Bank In-charge at Dhenkanal District Hospital. Among others Amit Singh, Chief Iron Making, TSM, Amitabh Jha, Chief HRBP, TSM, Chandra Prakash, Chief CRM, TSM, Dr. Ashish Mahapatra, Medical Officer, TSM, Dr. Avinash Dash Senior Medical Officer, TSM were present.
The blood donation drive was organized with the support of the Blood Bank, District Headquarters Hospital, Dhenkanal, and members of Ama Odisha, Sambad Group. The Medical Services Team of Tata Steel Meramandali ensured smooth coordination, creating a safe and efficient environment for all donors.
