Student dies due to lightning
Baliguda, 19/10 – : A student died due to lightning strike in Palami village of Sudra panchayat under Baliguda police station of Kandhamal district. This incident happened when the student was sitting in the verandah of her house. The dead student was Kalpana Malik (14), daughter of Mashindra Malik of Palami village. On receiving the news, Baliguda police arrived at the scene and found hair no. A case was filed on 22/24 and sent to Baliguda sub-district hospital for autopsy.
