Under PM Kisan 1,20516 farmers will get benefit
Angul, 05/10 – To meet the financial needs of farmers, an amount of assistance of Rs.6 thousand per year (in 3 installments) is provided by the Central Government under PM Kisan Samman Nidhu Yojana. Today, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi participated in a ceremony held in Wasim, Maharashtra and distributed the 18th installment of Rs. 20 thousand crores to 9.4 million farmers of the country. In this regard, the Prime Minister’s program was watched by the brothers and sisters of Angul’s hundred farmers at the conference room of the local Agricultural Science Center through AVASI. Under this plan, 1 lakh 20 thousand 516 farmers of Angul district will be benefited, according to the source of the Chief District Agriculture Office. Chief District Agriculture Officer Mr. Prashant Kumar Mohanty, Senior Scientist of Agriculture Science Center Dr. Debshish Mishra, Deputy Director of Horticulture Department, Mr. Amber Lugun, Assistant Director of Zoology, Mr. Nigamanand Padhi, District fisher Officer, Mr. Kuanr Mandi, Assistant Agriculture Officer, Mrs. Chinmayi Ray and Assistant Director of Agriculture, Mrs. Prabhati Ram Major were present.
